The v2 is a redrawn cat, cleaner lines and better contrast against the bamboo than the original. Same TallBoy underneath: aluminum and bamboo, turned and finished in our shop, 5.5" and around 13oz. You feel it through every gear change instead of grabbing a hollow plastic ball.
The grip pulls off. That's the part people miss. One core, then swap graphics whenever the build changes or you just get bored of looking at it. Your interior doesn't have to look the same in six months.
