The Grippy is our take on a knob you can actually hold onto. The surface carries a waffle-sole tread pattern, and the centre is domed so your palm sits into it rather than on top of it.

The dome does more than feel nice — it damps out some of the buzz that comes up through the shifter, which you notice most on a longer drive or an older gearbox.
